The road from Jaisalmer to Leh
In July 2025, eight friends and I took on what is formerly known as the Rickshaw Run Himalayas. Informally, it is known as a bunch of people who don’t really know what they’re doing, driving a tuk-tuk 2000km through India. We navigated through desert and mountain ranges, one of the world's highest passes, water crossings, and a few sheer cliff-edge drives. We crashed into the side of a hairpin turn, broke down in a remote Spitian village, encountered high-altitude cricket matches, and spent an afternoon in a monastery. These are the photos from that journey, along the road from Jaisalmer to Leh.
